PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the fatigue damage condition of an object to be subjected to fatigue damage detection before the object is destroyed by fatigue damage. ;SOLUTION: Both ends of a fatigue damage sensitive element 2 consisting of the electric conductor material of a fatigue damage monitor gauge 1 are connected to a bridge circuit 10. The fatigue damage sensitive element 2 has a stress concentrated part whose stress is concentrated. The stress concentrated part is destroyed before an object to be subjected to fatigue damage detection is destroyed. The output part of the bridge circuit 10 is connected to a strain amplifier 11, and the output part of the strain amplifier 11 is connected to a voltmeter and an electrical measuring system 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
