PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a titanium alloy as a metallic material excellent is ozone-contg. pure water resistance, to produce a titanium alloy member using the above titanium alloy as a base metal and to provide a method for producing the titanium alloy member. ;SOLUTION: This titanium alloy excellent in ozone-contg. pure water resistance is the one having a compsn. contg. 0 to 0.30% Ru, 0 to 0.30% Rh, 0 to 0.30% Pd, 0 to 0.30% Pt, 0 to 6.0% Ta, and the balance Ti with inevitable impurities, and in which, in the impurities, ≤0.3% Fe, ≤0.3% O (oxygen), ≤0.9% Ni, ≤0.9% Cr, ≤0.02% C, ≤0.01% N and ≤0.03% H are regulated. The titanium alloy member excellent in ozone-contg. pure water resistance is the one using this titanium alloy as a base metal, in which the maximum roughness of the surface is regulated to ≤1μm or the maximum roughness of the surface is regulated to ≥1μm and the surface is applied with oxidized coating as well. As for the method for producing the titanium alloy member, treatment is executed so as to regulate the maximum roughness of the surface to ≤1μm or, after that, oxidation treatment is furthermore execute by either method of anodic oxidation or high temp. oxidation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
