ANTI-CORROSION AND ANTI-CONTAMINATION EQUIPMENT FOR STEEL STRUCTURE IN SEA AND CONDUCTIVE PANEL FOR THIS EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-corrosion and anti-contamination equipment for a steel structure in sea water with a simple configuration at a low cost which is able to effectively prevent the sticking of marine organisms by applying a proper anti-contamination current and permits easy maintenance including replacement with new insoluble conductive panels at any time in sea water. ;SOLUTION: In this anti-corrosion and anti-contamination equipment for a steel structure 1 having outer surface in sea, conductive panels 3 as insoluble conductive panels are installed detachable through an anti-corrosion coating layer panted by an anti-corrosion paint on the outer surface of the steel structure 1. This conductive panel 3 is connected to an anode side a DC power supply 6 and is short-circuited to a cathode 4 through a current controller 5 capable of controlling the quantity of current.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
