PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy and efficient process for the simultaneous production of human cytochrome P450 and human cytochrome P450 reductase in the same host using a gene recombination technique. ;SOLUTION: Human cytochrome P450 and human cytochrome P450 reductase are produced and recovered at the same time by preparing a human cytochrome P450 expression vector and a human cytochrome P450 reductase expression vector each having the same drug-resistance selection marker gene (provided that either one of the vectors further contains a replication origin functioning in the host, a selection marker complementing the nutrition requirement of the host and a specific restriction enzyme cleavage point in the drug-resistance selection marker gene), cleaving one of the expression vectors at the restriction enzyme cleavage point, introducing both expression vectors into the same host cell at the same time and culturing the obtained transformant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
