PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device capable of quickly measuring the deformation amount of spent fuel after shutdown of a fast breeder reactor. SOLUTION: A fuel transport pot 6 containing spent fuel 1 dipped in sodium and an ultrasonic transmitter receiver 22 of an ultrasonic dimension measuring apparatus 20 are dipped and placed in sodium 3 in an out-of-core fuel storage tank 8, and the fuel transport pot 1 is elevated and rotated with a fuel transport pot elevator 16 for elevating and rotating the fuel transport pot and an ultrasonic transmitter receiver elevator 23 for elevating the ultrasonic transmitter receiver 22 to measure the distance between the ultrasonic transmitter receiver 22 and each point in the length direction and width direction of the circumferential surface of the spent fuel 1 contained in the fuel pot 6 and the deformation.
