PURPOSE:To obtain Ni-Fe magnetic alloy excellent in hot workability and magnetic property. CONSTITUTION:This Ni-Fe magnetic alloy, in which each content of impurity elements of P, S, O, N, C, Cr, Si is well controlled, contains 76.0-82.0wt.% Ni, 3.0-6.0wt.% Mo, 1.0-6.0wt.% Cu, 0.10-1.10wt.% Mn, 0.001-0.050wt.% Al, =0.1wt.% Sb, 1.5-6.0 Ca at a weight ratio of Ca/S. The component balances among Ni, Mo, Cu, Mn, Fe are in the specific range and a component segregation rate of Mo is =5%. The alloy is produced by heating the above described composition at 1200-1340 deg.C for 1-30hrs, subjecting to one time or more blooming at =950 deg.C finishing temp., successively, heating at 1150-1340 deg.C for 1-5hrs, and subjecting to hot rolling at =950 deg.C finish temp.
