PURPOSE: To lower the crystal precipitating temperature of absorbing liquid without decreasing the steam absorbing performance of the liquid by adding a certain type of additive as one ingredient of the liquid. ;CONSTITUTION: The absorbing liquid for an absorption refrigerator comprises at least one type of compound of halogenated calcium and halogenated cesium added to alkaline absorbing liquid containing lithium bromide and water as main ingredients. As the halogenated calcium, at least one type of compound selected from a group consisting of calcium bromide, calcium chloride and calcium iodide is used. As the halogenated cesium, at least one type of compound selected from a group consisting of cesium bromide, cesium chloride, cesium iodide and cesium fluoride is used.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
