PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit an excellent age-based stability in corrosion inhibiting ability for a long period. ;SOLUTION: An absorbent liquid for an absorption refrigerating machine includes lithium bromide as a main component and lithium molybdate is added as a corrosion inhibitor. The absorbent liquid further includes phosphonic acid and/or its salt as an addition. 1-Hydroxyethylidene-1,1-diphosphonic acid(HEDP) and/or its salt is preferably used as such phosphonic acid and/or its salt.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
