PURPOSE:To provide a control method and control device for a learning system for hearing of foreign language capable of greatly improving an ability to hear the foreign language in a short time and effectively cultivating the ability while highly maintaining a learner's will. CONSTITUTION:This control system and control device for the learning system for hearing the foreign language are used for learning hearing of the foreign language by inputting the result of an answer selected for a question for alternatively selecting one word or one sentence uttered by a voice synthesizer 4 from one group consisting of plural words or plural sentences by using a keyboard 12 or mouse 13 and outputting an answer to the inputted result. One degree of difficulty for one group is previously determined for the one group when the degree of the difficulty in hearing of the foreign language is previously set by dividing this degree to plural degrees of difficulty. The degree of difficulty for the one group of the specific learner is automatically changed according to the correct answer rate in the answers in learning.
