PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new pleasant lamp shade in which illumination and flowers are harmonized with each other in daily life by a method in which pressed flowers finished in nearly natural color can be seen through for a long period in a situation in which they are left as they are. ;SOLUTION: A lamp shade is formed by a method in which Japanese paper, etc., 2 which are cut in a shape of a lamp shade 1 are provided, a transparent synthetic resin 0.3-1mm in thickness which is cut in 1-2mm width is bonded to the peripheries, etc., of the paper, etc., 2 to make bones 5, and while impregnation liquid 6 being applied on the surfaces of the paper, etc., pressed flowers are embedded in an unsaturated polyester resin 7 to form the lamp shade 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
