PURPOSE:To prevent moisture form shifting to a food and to prolong the heat generation time of an exothermic material by condensing steam evaporated from the exothermic material and/or the food onto the base material of a packing container in the form of water drops which is then fed to the exothermic material. CONSTITUTION:Just made shao-mais 5 which are wrapped with packing paper 6 are set into a food container composed of a foamed styrene layer 1, an aluminum plate layer 2 laid on the inside of the former and an aluminum tray 3 formed therein suitable holes 4. Suitable number of air pores 7 are formed circularly in the bottom section 15 of the container. Packing paper which is oxygen-impermeable, for an exothermic material 8 is broken so as to feed oxygen from fresh air to the exothermic material 8 which therefore starts generation of heat. Water drops formed in the upper section of the container move along the bottom surface and then drop through holes 9 onto the exothermic mateiral 8 so as to make contact with the latter.
