CROSSING SUBGRADE PLATE AND RAIL SPLICED MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a crossing subgrade plate by fixing a main body slightly lower than the height of a rail so a synthetic sleeper, a bottom board on the upper surface of the main body so as to be equal in height to a road pavement and the main body and the bottom board to each other by a fixing jig. ;SOLUTION: A main body 10 slightly lower than the height of a rail 2 is fixed on a synthetic sleeper 1 made of a long glass fiber and a hard foamable resin. A bottom board 20 is fixed on the upper surface of the main body 10 as to be equal in height to a road pavement. A connecting member such as a screw nail is inserted and fixed in a through-hole 25 provided in the main body 10 and the bottom board 25 and the main body 10 and the sleeper 1 are made integral. Thus, when a vehicle travels on a crossing pavement, since a load is distributed on a plurality of sleepers rather than concentrated in one sleeper and the fatigue of the crossing subgrade plate is prevented, the durability of the crossing subgrade plates is improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
