ACCELERATION SENSOR UNIT, AIR BAG OPERATING DEVICE AND SEISMOGRAPHIC DEVICE USING ACCELERATION SENSOR UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acceleration sensor unit detecting not only acceleration component in the direction of one axis but acceleration of absolute value as actual acceleration, and outputting it. SOLUTION: The triaxial acceleration sensor 12 of an acceleration sensor unit 10 detects triaxial acceleration components (x, y, z) along the X-axis, Y- axis, Z-axis. Through log amplifiers 131, 132, 133, amplifiers 141, 142, 143, antilog amplifiers 151, 152, 153, x2 , y2 , z2 are obtained. Further they are added up by an adder 16, and acceleration of absolute value G=(x2 +y2 +z2 )1/2 is computed through a log amplifier 17, an amplifier 18, and an antilog amplifier 19, and output.
