PURPOSE:To easily treat the hole of the affected part in the body cavity without performing celiotomy or thoracotomy by forming a medical body wall hole obturator jig having a flange part provided to one end or both ends thereof from a shape memory resin having shape recovery temp. of 20-70 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:A body wall hole obturator jig is composed of a shape memory resin having shape recovery temp. of 20-70 deg.C, pref., 30-50 deg.C and deformed into a contracted shape suitable for insertion at the shape recovery temp. or lower and restored to the original molded shape having flange parts 1, 2 at both ends of the cylindrical central part thereof at the shape recovery temp. or higher. The medical body wall hole obturator jig 11 thus formed is mounted to the guide wire 13 inserted in the artery vessel part of the affected part between the main artery and the pulmonary artery from the vein of the femur part so that the guide wire 13 passes through the hole 16 of said jig 11 and inserted up to the affected part while pushed by a catheter 12 to be fitted in the hole of the affected part and, for example, a physiological saline solution of 45 deg.C is allowed to flow in the catheter 12 from a lumen 15 and the shapes of the flange parts 1, 2 are restored to fix the jig 11 to the hole of the affected part. By this method, the hole of the affected part in the body cavity can be easily treated.
