PURPOSE: To provide a scattering bait cage not subject to excessive burden on the plastic cage body, blade member and covering member when a fishing rod is shaken or a fishline rolled up because the fishline lies immobile on a sinker catch ring. ;CONSTITUTION: This scattering bait cage with blade stands equipped with a cylindrical cage body 1 having a release opening 6 and intake openings 7, 8, and a morning-glory-shaped part 19 situated around a control opening 20 communicating with the release opening 6 and the intake openings 7, 8, and has a blade member 2 engageable so as to be free to regulate its peripheral location on the outer periphery of the lower part of the cage body 1, a catch ring 36 to fasten a fishline 38 onto the center of the head, a sinker 4 engaged into the holding hole 11 at the bottom wall of the cage body 1 and a nearly conical covering member 3 engaged into the top of the cage body 1. On shaking up this cage in the sea, seawater is allowed to flow via the intake openings 7, 8 into this cage by the action of the morning-glory-shaped part 19 to effect raising the seawater pressure inside the cage body 1 and extruding scattering baits, together with seawater, via the release opening 6 into the sea.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
