PURPOSE: To facilitate assembling and increase a buffering effect, by arranging a corner protection body having both contact parts against the adjacent two sides of a corner of an article and providing a pressing flap for the article at least at one of both side walls of the body. ;CONSTITUTION: A corner protection material 2 protects a corner of fittings when packing the fittings like a door. In this case, a corner protection body 6 provided with a plurality of contacts 4, 5 oppositely positioned respectively to two sides crossing each other at right angles, at the corner of fittings, is arranged. In one 4 of contacts, hollow spaces are formed between the external plate 8 and the internal plate 9 and a plurality of reinforcing ribs 10 are arranged. The other contact 5 is positioned so as to cross the contact 4 at right axles through a pair of side walls 11 oppositely arranged to both faces of fittings. A tongue-form pressing flap 13 is extended inward at the slant side of both side walls 11.
