PURPOSE:To correct a shape that is even a complicated shape into flat when a rolled stock for sheet is rolled with a 20 stages rolling mill. CONSTITUTION:Two front and rear rolls of upper and lower 1st intermediate rolls 5, 5A are made into a set, shifted in the direction of roll axis and 2nd intermediate rolls 10, 10A in the middle in the direction of the pass line among upper and lower 2nd intermediate rolls 6, 6A are made into nonrotational drive. That nonrotational driven 2nd intermediate rolls 10, 10A have taper-shaped parts 11, 11A on the same side where are opposed to the taper-shaped parts 8, 8A of the above-mentioned upper and lower 1st intermediate rolls 5, 5A and are shifted in the direction of roll axis. The shape in the vicinity of the middle part of width of a rolled stock 3 is corrected with the upper and lower 2nd intermediate rolls 10, 10A and the shape in the vicinity of the edge parts of sheet is corrected with upper and lower 1st intermediate rolls 5, 5A by satisfying the relationship of B A, when the axial length of the taper- shaped parts 8, 8A of the above-mentioned upper and lower 1st intermediate rolls 5, 5A is defined as A and the axial length of the taper-shaped parts 11, 11A of the above-mentioned upper and lower 2nd intermediate rolls 10, 10A as B, and shifting both the upper and lower intermediate rolls 5, 5A, 10, 10A in the direction of roll axis.
