NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I [R1 is alkyl or cycloalkyl which may contain alkoxy or -Ra-A-B (Ra is alkyl; A is hetero or single bond; B is aromatic ring or hetero ring; R2 and R3 are aralkyl, silyl or acyl]. EXAMPLE:(3R,7S)3,7-Dibenzyloxy-1,1-dimethoxydodec-4-yn-6-ol.(intermedi ate) USE:A synthetic intermediate for prostaglandin. PREPARATION:The oxime part and the olefin part of an optically active oxide compound shown by formula II are subjected to intramolecular ring formation addition to give a compound shown by formula I. In the reaction, the compound shown by formula II and triethylamine are stirred in a solvent such as methylene trichloride and sodium hypochlorite is dripped to the mixed solution and stirred.
