PURPOSE: To provide a new photopolymerization initiator compound which has excellent compatibility and storage stability, and is capable of improving the photoreaction efficiency. ;CONSTITUTION: This compound is a compound represented by formula I or II, (wherein R is a 1-5C alkyl; Y is a polyfunctional aromatic group or aliphatic hydrocarbon bonded with a glycidyl group in an epoxy resin via O or N; Ph is phenyl and X is 1 to 5). Examples thereof include a compound represented by formula III. The compound represented by formula I or II is obtained, for example, by chemical bonding of a benzoin alkyl ether(BAE) with an epoxy prepolymer or epoxy acrylate prepolymer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
