PURPOSE: To maintain flexibility of a flexible metallic pipe to the maximum extent and to secure sealing performance between the pipe and the lining by preventing polyvinylidene fluoride from entering a joint of the flexible metallic pipe in lining. ;CONSTITUTION: After a crack and a space 4 are formed on joint fitting parts 1, 2 of a flexible metallic pipe 3 formed by spirally winding a metallic band body, the metallic pipe 3 is covered with a polyurethane thermoplastic elastomer layer 5, and the space 4 between metallic pipe bodies is filled. This polyurethane thermoplastic elastomer layer 5 is an intermediate layer between the flexible metallic pipe 3 and an outer polyvynidlidene fluoride layer 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
