PURPOSE:To accurately scrub screenings by fitting a scrubbing drum rotated together with an outer drum to the inside of this outer drum and forming the scrubbing drum of a cage-shape and also comparing the inside by a C-type compartment plate fitted with a flow driving plate. CONSTITUTION:A scrubbing drum 6 rotated together with a freely rotary horizontal outer drum 3 is fitted to the inside of the outer drum 3 while holding the space for scrubbing water between the mutual drums. The scrubbing drum 6 is formed of a cage shape and a plurality of C-type compartment plates 7 fitted with the plates 7a compart the scrubbing drum 6 in the axial direction. These plates 7a are fitted to the inner face of the scrubbing drum 6 by nearly changing the phases of the respective notched parts. In other words, screenings introduced into the drum according to rotation of the outer drum are scrubbed by rubbing little by little in the respective compartments. Thereby scrubbing effect is accurately obtained and therefore no malodor remains in the scrubbed screenings.
