PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost largely by installing a flange to the opening outer periphery of a waste water treating tank capable of connecting inflow and outflow pipes to a side wall and being made of a plate material and covering the opening of the waste water treating tank with a fire-resisting cover. ;SOLUTION: A flange 1b is formed to the outer periphery of the opening 1a of a tank 1 having an inflow port 1c in one side wall and an outflow port 1d in the other side wall, and a receiving frame 4 is mounted on the inside from the end of the opening 1a by approximately the thickness of a fire-resisting cover 2. The rectangular thick plate-shaped fire-resisting cover 2 slightly smaller than the opening 1a is composed of one or a plurality of plates formed of a noncombustible material having fire resistance and heat-insulating properties. A waterproof layer 23 is formed onto the top face of a floor 21, cinder concrete 24 onto the top face of the layer 23 and a floor finishing layer 25 onto the top face of cinder concrete 24, the opening 1a of the tank 1 is interrupted by the fire-resisting cover 2, and the cover 2 is covered with a manhole cover 3. Accordingly, an underfloor section and an upper floor section can be interrupted in fire compartments while using a slab as a boundary.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
