PURPOSE:To enable arbitrarily selected dosage of calories by a method wherein a title bag is formed with first and second chambers being formed in a liquidtight manner, mixture liquid of amino acid and an electrolyte is contained in a first chamber, and graduations are marked on the wall surface of the second chamber containing reducing sugar solution a desired amount of which can be mixed with the mixture liquid in the first chamber. CONSTITUTION:A bag 1 for liquid for an intravenous injection is formed by a flexible sheet in a manner to incline a partition belt part 2. The bag is divided into a first chamber 3 located to the lower part of the bag 1 and containing mixture of amino acid and an electrolyte and a second chamber 4 located to the upper part thereof and containing reduction syrup, and is formed in a liquidtight manner. A coupling tube 5 at the lower end of inclination of the partition belt part 2 and between the lower end part of the second chamber 4 and the upper end part of the first chamber 3, a clamp 6 for opening and closing a tube is arranged, and graduations 7 are marked on the wall surface of the second chamber. This constitution enables regulation of an amount of reduction syrup mixed in amino acid and electrolyte mixture liquid on occasion and enables preparation of liquid for an intravenous injection in arbitrary concentration ranging from a low calorie to a high calorie.
