Freeze vacuum heating container of dry method and freeze-drying equipment

PURPOSE: To shorten drying time without deteriorating the quality of an article by supporting a tray in which the article to be dried is accomodated such that the tray is separated from upper and lower heaters and the upper and lower surface sides of the tray are exposed and heating the article with radiation heat from the heaters. ;CONSTITUTION: In a freezing/drying method, a tray 46 is accomodated in a vacuum heating container, and gas in the vacuum heating container is sucked and simultaneously the tray 46 is heated with heaters 12a, 12b from the upper and lower portions to dry an accomodated article to be dried. For the tray 46 there is used a tray 46 having a bottom surface that is mesh-shaped or transparent or semitransparent, and the tray 46 is separated from a pair of upper and lower heaters 12a, 12b, and further the upper surface side and the bottom surface side of the tray 46 are exposed and supportable support members 38a, 38b are provided. Hereby, radiation heat from the upper and lower haters 12a, 12b is directly exerted on the article and drying speeds for the upper and lower layers of the article are substantially the same, and the article is dried substantially at the same speed from the outer periphery of the article to the center of the same.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
