PURPOSE: To construct a branch joining part lining body of optional shape by fitting plural shield machines to the front face of a block, and after pressing them to the natural ground by a master pushing jack to excavate, separating both shield machines to excavate forward. ;CONSTITUTION: Plural shield machines A and auxiliary excavating devices are fitted directly dispensing with a united shield machine and respectively formed into branch structure in various forms. The block of lining bodies E1, E2 constructed as an integrated body is further extended so as to make the internal structure of the lining bodes E1, E2 changeable in various ways while satisfying the building limit. The lining bodies E1, E2 are constructed on the ground, and the shield machines are fitted to the front faces thereof. The shield machines and the lining bodies E1, E2 are pushed into the natural ground.
