High-power laser for fiber branch light guiding switching device

摘要

PURPOSE:To accurately position high-power laser light at plural desired optical fibers at a high speed by performing control so that a chopper is cut off and a glvanometer mirror becomes an incidence surface on which laser light is made incident next time during angular displacement movement. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with a laser light source 1, the chopper 5 which is interposed in the path of the laser light from the laser source 1 and passes and cuts off the laser light, the galvanometer mirror 6 which reflects the laser light from the chopper 5, and plural optical fibers which have their incidence surfaces arranged at respective positions where the laser light reflected by the galvanometer mirror 6 is guided. While the chopper 5 passes the laser light and the galvanometer mirror 6 is in a stationary state, the laser light reflected by the galvanometer mirror 6 is guided selectively to the respective predetermined incidence surfaces, and then, the chopper 5 cuts off the light and the galvanometer mirror 6 becomes the incidence surface on which the laser light should be made incident next time during the angular displacement movement.
