PURPOSE: To enhance a wear resistance and a durability against a solvent by forming an adherent first layer made of a siloxane on a surface of a plastic or a non-vitreous inorganic substance and further a second layer made of a fluorosilane having a silicon atom bonded with a fluorine-containing organic group. CONSTITUTION: In the ink jet recording head 2 having an ink tube 6 and an orifice 4, an adherent first layer 10 made of a plastic or non-vitreous inorganic substance such as, for example, captonpolyamide and made of a cured siloxane on a surface of the orifice 4 is formed. Then, a second layer 12 having at least one hydrolyzable group and a silicone atom bonded with at least one fluorine- containing organic substance for giving non-wettability to the layer and obtained from at leas one fluorosilane is formed on the layer 10. Thus, a wear resistance and durability against a solvent can be improved.
