Fuzzy pattern recognition device

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a fuzzy pattern recognizing device capable of evaluating the null part of an input pattern provided with the null part, and affecting it on confidence for the final recognition. CONSTITUTION:A main processor 3 collates a reading image binarized by a signal conversion part 2 with a pattern for collation(fuzzy template), and increases the confidence for recognition by the fuzzy template when the reading image is provided with the null part. Such collation and incremental operation are applied to each fuzzy template, and when arithmetic operations on all the fuzzy templates are completed, the shape number and name of the pattern with the maximum value of confidence is outputted as a recognition result.
