PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent earth and sand from being adhered to the guide groove of a gate plate to interrupt the movement of the gate plate by providing an earth and sand falling opening on a conveyor gate device. ;SOLUTION: In a gate device G for opening and closing an opening part 2 provided on one end lower surface of a screw conveyor 1, a gate frame 5 is provided around the opening part 2, and the terminal end part of a guide groove 7 within the gate frame 5 is cut to form an earth and sand falling opening between the guide groove 7 and the gate frame 5. The tip part 6a of the gate plate is made into a form easy to scrape earth and sand, whereby the gate device G advances while the earth and sand adhered in the guide groove 7 is scraped when the opening part 2 is closed, drops the earth and sand in the rear end part, and surely moves the gate plate 6 to the stroke end to perfectly block the opening part 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
