摘要

PURPOSE: To measure the coefficient of kinematic viscosity of a fluid without being influenced by the change of thermal conductivity accompanying the component composition or concentration change of the fluid in the measurement of the coefficient of kinematic viscosity of the fluid by use of steady overheating method. ;CONSTITUTION: By use of a heating sensor having heating effect and capable of measuring its own temperature which is arranged in a fluid, the temperature of a fluid and the temperature of the heating sensor are measured under the condition of a constant heating value. The surface temperature of the heating sensor is calculated from the relational expression with the heating sensor temperature, and the temperature difference with the fluid is calculated. This value and the heat conductivity of the fluid are integrated together to provide an index value. The coefficient of kinematic viscosity of the fluid is measured from a preset correlation between the index value and the coefficient of kinematic viscosity of the fluid.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
