PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coefficient-of-viscosity measuring method capable of easily and promptly determining the electrolyte concentration and viscosity of a sample from electrical conductivity measurement, using the sample in small quantity.;SOLUTION: A coefficient-of-viscosity measuring method comprises: a first step of measuring an electrical conductivity σ0 of an undiluted solution of a sample; a second step of estimating an electrical conductivity σ2 of an aqueous solution obtained by dissolving an electrolyte of the sample in pure water so that the electrolyte has a concentration equal to an electrolyte concentration c2 of the undiluted solution of the sample by referring to a conversion table or a conversion formula representing a relation between the electrolyte concentration of a known predetermined solution and the electrical conductivity thereof; and a third step of calculating a coefficient of viscosity η of the undiluted solution of the sample from a ratio of the estimated electrical conductivity σ2 to the electrical conductivity σ0 of the undiluted solution of the sample.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
