PURPOSE: To provide a long heater wire and enhance flexibility by preventing uneveness of tension and eliminating a knot in each wire of plural metallic heater conductors at the time of winding. ;CONSTITUTION: A plurality of metallic heater conductors 2a are subjected to parallel winding into a spiral shape with a fixed pitch in the outer circumference of a core 1, a fusing layer 3 of polyamide resin is provided on the outer circumference thereof, a plurality of signal conductors 4 are subjected to parallel winding into a spiral shape, and further, sheath 5 is provided in order in the outer circumference thereof. In this heater wire, an insulating coating film 10 excellent in surface sliding property, composed mainly of a thermoplastic resin having a melting point lower than the polyamide resin of the fusing layer 3 and blended with a sliding agent, is provided on the outer circumference of the metallic heating conductor 2a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
