PURPOSE:To improve the parallelism of processing and processing efficiency by decomposing a curve into curve patches expressed by a single polynominal. CONSTITUTION:A curve rotating means 10 rotates a straight line so as to make the straight line parallel with the (y) axis and rotates a curve also by the same angle and the rotational angle, rotated curve data and an x-coordinate value are respectively sent to an intersecting point rotating means 60, a curve patch forming means 30 and a rough decision means 40. A natural number forming means 20 forms a natural number 1, the means 30 finds out 4 control points of a partial string of a NOT vector corresponding to the sent curve data and the natural number 1 and sends the control points to the means 40 and a patch- straight line intersecting point calculating means 50. The means 40 finds out the minimum and maximum values of the (x) coordinate values of the four control points and the means 50 finds out the coordinate value of the intersecting point between the curve patch and sends the coordinate value to an intersecting point rotating means 60. Consequently, the parallelism and processing efficiency can be improved.
