PURPOSE:To dissolve the shine of a sewed product by treating the shine portion of the sewed product with a device at a cloth surface temperature and for a time within specific ranges, respectively, the device generating hot wind having a wind speed, a wind volume and a temperature within specific ranges, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A device for dissolving the shine of a sewed product generates hot wind having a wind speed of 1-9m/sec, a wind volume of 0.02-0.3m3/min and a temperature of 125-250 deg.C and is equipped with 2-5cm thick heat-insulating plates on the hot wind outlet thereof. A sewed product sewed and subsequently subjected to an iron-finishing process is hung on a hanger, and a hot air flow having a wind speed of 1-9m/sec is vertically applied to the shine-generated sewed portion of the sewed product with the above-mentioned device at a distance of 2-5cm from the hot wind-blowing-out opening thereof to keep the temperature of the cloth surface at 120-200 deg.C for at least 1sec.
