PURPOSE:To accomplish in high efficiency the proliferation of the seedlings or tubers of e.g. potatoes by culturing the tissue of a solanum plant using liquid medium with high dissolved oxygen concentration. CONSTITUTION:The objective proliferation of seedlings or tubers can be accomplished by making a culture of the tissue, cells or plant bodies of a solanum plant capable of tuber formation [pref. cultivated potato species (Solanum tuberosum)] using a liquid medium =9 (pref. 9 to 20) ppm of dissolved oxygen concentration (DO).
