PURPOSE:To obtain picture having high brightness stably even under severe environmental conditions by using a combination of a photoreceptive member constituted by laminating a photoconductive layer comprising a specified material, a latent image holding layer and a sensible image holding layer having specified resistivity, contg. respectively specified atoms, together with a developer of a toner having specified particle size. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptive member constituted by laminating successively a photoconductive layer comprising a nonsingle crystal silicon material, a latent image holding layer contg. Si atoms, carbon atoms, and, if necessary, H atoms and halogen atoms, and a sensible image holding layer contg. Si atoms, C atoms, and, if necessary, H atoms and halogen atoms, and having a specific resistance regulated to 1013-1016ohm.cm on a base body, is used in combination with a developer of an insulative toner having 4.5-9.0 volume average particle size. Thus, a bright picture having high picture quality is formed even under a severe environmental condition.
