PURPOSE:To obtain a picture image having low minimum density, to retard generation of stain in the obtd. picture image, and to improve preservability of the picture image by incorporating a polymer contg. recurrent units derived from a monomer having a specified compsn. into at least one photography constituting layer. CONSTITUTION:A polymer contg. recurrent units derived from a monomer expressed by the formula I is incorporated into at least one photography constituting layer of a heat developable photosensitive material, wherein the photography constituting layer contains at least photosensitive silver halide, a reducing agent, a dye donating material, and a binder, on a base. In formula I, R1 is an alkyl group or an H atom.; X is an atomic group necessary for forming an N-contg. heterocyclic ring. By this constitution, a picture image having a low minimum density is obtd. Generation of stain in the obtd. picture image is retarded, and the preservability of the picture image is improved.
