PURPOSE: To separate and remove with high efficiency radioactive nuclide in a radioactive soln. and to reduce the amt. of radioactive waste which is required to be controlled for a long time by a method wherein after evaporation procedure of volatile components from a radioactive waste liq. is performed, other radioactive nuclide are separated by means of coprecipitation, ion-exchange, adsorption or solvent extraction. ;CONSTITUTION: The pH of a retreatment waste liq. 1 contg. radioactive nuclide from a retreatment waste liq. feeding tank 3 is adjusted with a pH adjusting agent from a pH adjusting agent feeding tank 4 in a retretment waste liq. treating tank 2. Here, a waste liq. stirring mechanism consisting of a waste liq. stirrer 8 and a power source 7 thereof promotes both adjustment of pH of the waste liq. and evaporation of volatile nuclide and removes such as interferring coprecipitation operation from the waste liq. Then, after volatile nuclide are removed, a coprecipitating agent to the radioactive nuclide is fed into the retreatment waste liq. in the tank from a coprecipitating agent feeding tank 5 to perform coprecipitation of the radioactive nuclide and the formed precipitation and the waste liq. from which the radioactive nuclide have been removed are transferred to a precipitation separating mechanism 10 by means of a slurry pump 9 and the waste liq. is separated from the precipitation and is transferred to a treated waste liq. tank 11.
