PURPOSE: To obtain a high-sensitivity biosensor by immersing positive and negative electrodes one of which is a quartz oscillator into a solution containing a receptor forming ionic substance and by impressing DC voltage across both electrodes to form a fixed film of ionic substance over the surface of the quartz oscillator. ;CONSTITUTION: According to the ionicity of ionic substance to be fixed, quartz oscillator electrodes 2 with at least one or both of a positive or negative electrode fitted with gold electrodes are immersed in a buffer solution PBS+IgG of ionic substance, and DC voltage 4 is impressed on both electrodes. In the case where only one of the electrodes is a quartz oscillator electrode 2, the other is preferably a gold electrode 1. Voltage should be 0.5-3V, preferably 0.5-2V, depending upon pH of the ionic buffer solution of ionic substance, and impressing time is preferably 30min. An AT cut of much less variation in resonance frequency with temperature is favorable as the quartz oscillator 2. Rabbit anti-human albumin IgG functions as an antibody to recognize HSA, and phosphoric acid buffer physiological saline solution (PBS) ph7.0 as a buffer solution.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
