PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a horizontal cutting and demolishing safely at high speed with a good workability in a condition of effecting no bad influence of oscillations, noises, etc., onto the external environment and without the limitation of the sectional area of cutting and the positions of parts including the reinforcement bars inside a submerged reinforced concrete structure. ;SOLUTION: A cutting cable 17 composed of a wire rope to which a cutting performance is imparted is wound around a submerged part of a submerged reinforcement concrete structure 1, and the cable 17 is actuated to cut the structure by means of a cable driver 10 installed on the ground. Wedged spacers are driven in the gaps generated by the cutting according to the cutting progress, and operation is carried out under the control of cutting speed and tension.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
