PURPOSE:To improve workability by a method wherein a tape on which the curve of a connection determined by means of the outer size of an underground embedded pipe and the inner size of a ring block is laminated to the outer peripheral surface of the end part of the embedded pipe, the end part of the embedded pipe is cut off along a curve, and connected to the mounting hole of the ring block. CONSTITUTION:The inner side of an applicable ring block is shown in a frame 6 of a tape 5 for marking, and a plurality of development curves 7 differed with a kind of a pipe body are printed classified by a color on the tape 5. The tape 5 responding to the inner size of the ring block and the nominal diameter of the pipe body is selected, and wound around the outer peripheral surface of the end part of a pipe body intended to be connected to the ring block. The development curve 7 responding to a kind of the pipe body is selected, and a reference line for trimming is decided. The end part of the pipe body is trimmed along the reference line, and a pipe end is finished into an end surface shape conforming to the inner surface of the ring block.
