PURPOSE:To prevent a bar code from being contaminated by providing a sensor for detecting a bar code adhesively secured to a rotating spray head and the joint part of an inner liner, a device for effecting masking in interrupting the coating, and a device for blowing off the adhered coating material by means of an air jet. CONSTITUTION:A bar code 2 is adhesively held in the center of a green tire 1 and on the joint part 3 of an inner liner. When the tire comes to a receiving place, a nozzle head 14 moves upward to the central position of the tire, and thereafter advances to the coating position. In this instance, a sensing head 15 acts to release the brake 13 and advances along therewith. Next, a sensor 16 in the sensing head 15 revolves and stops at the time of recognizing the bar code 2. At this time, the brake 13 is left to be fixed therein. Subsequently, the nozzle head 14 revolves while spraying a coating material, and the coating is ceased by means of a sensor 18 in the guide part of the advancing sensing head 15, and it revolves to the original point thereof while reopening coating by means of a next sensor 18 and stop coating. In the next pace, air is jetted from an air nozzle 17 for cleaning the surface of the bar code 2.
