PURPOSE: To improve mold release characteristics by forming inner and outer circumferential projecting edges for interposing an 0 ring to the whole circumference of the top face of a rim while forming a notch section for a compressed-air spray port to the outer circumferential projecting edge when the base mold of an under-counter type washbasin is molded. ;CONSTITUTION: When the base mold of a washbasin T is molded, a top force 7 forming a recessed groove 11 for fitting a seal ring composed of an inner circumferential projecting edge section 3 and an outer circumferential projecting edge section 4 to the whole circumference of the top face of a rim is installed. A plurality of projecting sections 7a are formed to the molding section of the outer periphery 4 of the top force 7, and a plurality of notch sections are shaped to the outer periphery 4. Slurry is injected into the air gap of a gypsum mold consisting of the top force 7 and a bottom force 8, moisture is absorbed and slurry is dried, and the bottom force 8 is mold-released. Compressed air is blown in by an air gun 9 from the notch sections of the outer periphery 4, and the washbasin T fast stuck to the top force 7 in a shrunk shape is mold- released.
