Mechanical safety system for keeping a ladder at the level of a building roof

An adjustable device (1) (2) (3) is inserted between two rungs of a ladder and is held against them under pressure. The mechanism is composed of bars (4) (5) that slide into it in the direction of a bearing object (gutter, channel or roof). On each of these bars slides, perpendicularly, a T-shaped component which presses the top and the bottom respectively of a bearing object and does so over a certain bearing distance thereby preventing all dangerous movements of a ladder.IMAGE
