EPICYCLIC FRICTION GEAR FOR CONTINUOUS CHANGE OF SPEED DURING RUNNING

The invention concerns fluent regulation of revolutions when running using a mechanical solution. The essence of the invention is a gearbox formed by linking two concentrically fitted planetary friction gears which have joint and mutually turning central wheels (1, 5) and joint and mutually turning ring gears (2, 6). The axes of spin of the satellite wheels (4, 8) of these ring gears are inclined with zero angle to the central axis. Simultaneously it is possible to shift the satellite wheels (4, 8) of at least one of the planetary ring gears in the axial direction of their spin and so change the roller diameter on the central wheel and ring gear (1, 5) and (2, 6) and thus gear ratio of the gearbox. By the reciprocal combination of the diameters of the central wheels (1, 5) and diameters and angles of inclination of the lines of axial shift of the satellite wheels (4, 8) it is possible to achieve any regulating extent including fluent changes of the direction of spin.IMAGE
