Method for online cleaning and filling of an extra-corporeal blood circuit of a dialysis machine, especially for cleaning of the blood transport lines and dialysis units, whereby dialysis fluid produced or prepared by the machine itself is transported through the lines with the dialysis fluid being transported through the membranes of the dialysis units. ??An Independent claim is made for an arrangement for cleaning and filling of an extra-corporeal blood circuit of a dialysis machine. The arrangement has an automatically executing program within the control program in which dialysis fluid is transported through the dialysis unit membranes around the extra- corporeal blood circuit.
