The proposed device belongs to the branch of electronics, it is namely a device for measuring the relative volume of oxygen in smoke and it can be used for measuring the relative volume of oxygen in smoke when gas, fuel oil or solid fuel is used. This device must be compact and easy to use, it must allow to measure the quantity of oxygen in smoke, in order to determine the quality of the fuel. The meter consists of an electrically connected sensor, additionally connected counter and transducer blocks. The transducer block consists of a thermometer at the cold end of the thermo pore, which is connected to the primary incoming connection of the totaliser, temperature stabiliser and emergency comparator, the outgoing connection of which is connected to the counter block. The sensor block construction is different. The heater of the oxygen sensor ampoule is cylinder-shaped; the inner hollow cylinder is made of dielectric, which withstands high temperatures, a coil of heat resistant wire is attached to it. The outer cylinder of the heater and the back walls are made of metal, the inner spacing of the heater between the dielectric and metal cylinder is filled with high temperature resistant thermo-insulating material. The construction of the smoke sampling unit is different - one pipe is partly inserted into another, the first pipe is of a smaller diameter, one end of it is open, the other is closed; the open end of this pipe is partly inserted into the second pipe which has a larger diameter, the closed end of the first pipe, partly coming out of the second pipe, must have holes in it and the outer part of it must by covered by porous material in order to filter smut out of smoke.
