The invention concerns the frame of a skeeler, which has been constructed in such a way that a system of bindings can be fitted directly to it for a type of shoe that can also be used for various other sports such as skating, cross-country skiing and roller skiing, for example. The distinguishing feature of the shoe is that it can easily be fixed to the frame by its front only using what is known as a "cross-country ski" binding or a similar kind of binding. The effect of this construction is a multifunctional application of an existing type of shoe plus another skeeler technology, enabling the ankle to be stretched more effectively when the foot is being put down. The invention is also concerned with a system of bindings in which the heel is also attached in some fashion at the rear to the binding or the frame.
