摘要
The present invention refers to a method of production of decorative sculptured pieces which faithfully resemble "sand structures" or "beach sculptures". The method makes use of the raw materials: water, figure 1-A, pore dispersant, figure 1-B, powdered glass, figure 1-C, yellow sand, figure 1-D, kaolin sand, figure 1-E, "alpha five" plaster, figure 1-F, or cement, figure 1-G, diluent, varnish, bondex and enamel paint. First, one proceeds to make a solution consisting of water, pore dispersant, powdered glass, kaolin sand and yellow sand. To this compound is added "alpha five" plaster or cement, depending on whether one wishes to produce pieces of small or large size, respectively. The solution is placed in a container, figure 2.1, where it is mixed and subsequently poured into moulds. It is then dried, figure 2.4, after which one proceeds with sandblasting of the piece, figure 2.5, in order to remove the outer film of plaster or, if using cement, it is subjected to washing with water in order to remove the cement paste, figure 2.2, and the rigidity is consolidated with subsequent washings, figure 2.3. The objective in the above steps is to bring out the sands participating in the structural process. The notion of a faithfully reproduced "sand structure" or "beach sculpture" is immediately apparent. The pieces are afterwards cleaned by air gun, if using plaster, or simply washed, if using cement, in order to remove the loose sand, after which they are dipped in varnish and diluent, figure 2.6. After the varnish dries, the pieces are subjected to an application of bondex and enamel paint, figure 2.7. They are finally ready to function as a suggestive decorative element. IMAGE
