The invention refers to a machine for planting germinating potatoes whilst protecting the shoots against any breaking or damage, which works on a 45 HP or 65 HP tractor. According to the invention, the germinating potato planter is made up of the frame (1), the coupling system (2), the hopper (3), the conveyor and drive wheels (4) and the distribution device (6), and has a feeding device (B) that is made up of a slope (7), a band (8) with segments with teats (9), activated by a drive pulley (11) and a driven pulley (12), which are mounted vertically on a horizontal platform (13) that has the possibility to adjust the slope of the band (8) in the horizontal plane.
